Partick Works Limited (PWL) is the non-charitable trading subsidiary of Partick Housing Association, committed to creating vibrant and sustainable neighbourhoods in Glasgow’s thriving West End. Our core business involves providing property factoring services to over 1500 factored homeowners; managing a growing portfolio of residential properties, including Mid Market Rent flats; and letting a small number of commercial premises.

Partick Works is led by an experienced Board who have responsibility for governance and strategic direction of the business. We are keen to recruit new Board Members who want to add value, help us drive forward our ambitious plans and deliver successful and sustainable business growth.

We Believe That Great People Make a Difference To Our Business And Welcome Interest From Candidates From a Wide Range Of Backgrounds, Particularly If You Have Relevant Experience In

  • Residential Letting/Management;
  • Property Factoring/Management;
  • Commerce and Business Development;
  • Building Maintenance and Asset Management; or
  • Customer Service, Marketing and ICT.

This is a voluntary but rewarding position. Time commitment is to attend at least four meetings each year, which we hold in the evening within our offices in Partick, Glasgow. We also encourage and support our Board Members to develop their skills through relevant training, seminars and other networking events.

PWL Directors must meet the Companies House Director Responsibility requirements.

We want to complement our core activities by looking at smart ways of growing and diversifying our business, while retaining our customer focus, delivering positive results and maintaining our financial viability.

Partick Works is a Company Limited by Shares, with Partick Housing Association being the sole shareholder. We have a Group Corporate Plan and the relationship between Partick Works and Partick Housing Association is governed by an Independence Agreement, which sets out respective remits, roles and responsibilities.
