Spire View Housing Association are looking for an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Assistant to join the Team. Our mission is to provide high quality affordable housing and services which will contribute to the community we serve. To do this we need passionate and enthusiastic employees who wish to make a positive difference to our tenants and service users.
As our new Maintenance Assistant, you will need to have experience of dealing with members of the public, a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and experience of assisting to deliver an efficient and effective maintenance and property management service, helping us to ensure that Spire View remains the “landlord of choice” for our Royston community.
We are looking for someone with experience of developing positive working relationships with our contractors, assisting with overseeing work to ensure our tenants’ money is well spent and communicating effectively throughout. We expect you to take ownership of your role and make decisions and work on your own initiative. Knowledge and experience of repairs legislation and compliance requirements would be beneficial.
This is a key role for us and your contribution to our small team will be vital to maintain our positive reputation with our customers and our local stakeholders. You will assist and provide support to other members of the maintenance and housing team.
