Cairn Housing Association is recruiting for a Compliance Assistant to support landlord health and safety compliance across over 5,000 homes in Scotland.

Location: Bellshill, Edinburgh, or Inverness (hybrid working).

Hours: 34.5 hours per week (full time).

Salary: £32,686 per annum, rising to £34,407 per annum after successful completion of a 6‑month probationary period.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Compliance Officer and support the Property Services teams and wider organisation on compliance with landlord health and safety legislation.
  • Ensure robust and effective data‑management systems, processes, programmes and approved contractor performance.
  • Coordinate and deliver day‑to‑day compliance services and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) inspections, scheduling, collating, scrutinising and recording servicing certification and PPM inspection data.
  • Provide accurate and detailed reports on Landlord Health and Safety compliance activities.
  • Contribute to a positive, proactive safety culture by being visible and engaged across the organisation.
