Overview

Hillcrest Homes Dundee is seeking an Application Developer to drive the successful delivery of business change across Hillcrest’s application landscape. You will work with teams across the organisation to understand needs, shape system requirements and deliver projects and business improvements that create clear, measurable value. You will translate business requirements into structured, actionable work packages; configure and test application changes; and co-ordinate supplier engagement to ensure updates are controlled, secure and aligned with organisational standards. You will ensure that each change follows a consistent delivery process. A significant part of your role will focus on delivering improvements across Hillcrest’s systems, integrations and reporting. This includes configuring system changes, managing integrations, co-ordinating supplier enhancements, and developing reports that support reliable, data driven decision making, all delivered through structured and well documented processes.

About You

  • Experience configuring and developing solutions in core business applications
  • Strong SQL skills with experience producing SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards
  • Ability to gather requirements, translate needs into clear user stories and deliver against them
  • Experience co-ordinating and testing supplier fixes, releases and enhancements
  • Experience supporting or contributing to system implementations
  • Experience with system configuration and integration, ensuring systems work reliably and consistently across the organisation
  • A methodical approach with strong attention to detail and tidy, structured documentation
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
