An exciting opportunity to work in the centre of Perth for a rapidly growing Private School. Working alongside the Directors and Senior Management teams, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and distributing mail, dealing with couriers, photocopying, filing documents and booking meetings.
- Answering phone calls, taking messages and responding to emails.
- Maintaining / ordering office supplies to include stationery, refreshments and equipment such as printers and photocopiers.
- Assisting with health and safety compliance and general office tidiness.
- Providing support to other staff members, including secretarial and reception cover as required.
- Operating computerised systems for records, information and communication.
- Assisting clients as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of three Highers, including Higher English. A qualification in Admin and IT would be advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy and experience of using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong organisation and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Professional appearance and manner for interacting with colleagues and visitors.
Work Environment
- Comfortable office in the heart of Perth.
- Monday to Thursday 10am to 2pm (with occasional overtime during busy periods).
- Interaction with multiple personnel including tutors, students and senior management.
- Occasional travel between office locations may be required.
