The Agriculture and Rural Economy (ARE) Directorate is on a mission to work collaboratively with stakeholders to enable vibrant and thriving communities and businesses that protect and enhance Scotland’s natural environment. Digital services are central to ARE’s commitment to supporting sustainable economic growth in agriculture, the food industry, and rural areas.
The ARE Digital and Data (AD&D) Division provides the technical capability and capacity to ensure these digital services are reliable, secure and future ready.
As Lead Cloud Engineer, you will set the vision and direction for cloud engineering on our AWS estate, ensuring our platforms are robust, scalable and future ready. You will work closely with the Product Owner along with the Platform, Software, Data and Site Reliability engineering teams as well as the Cyber Security team to deliver key digital outcomes.
