Job Title - International Network and Delivery Project Manager

Location - This post is based in Edinburgh (Victoria Quay) with a mix of office based and remote working in line with the current hybrid working policy.
Working Arrangement – Our standard hours are 35 hours per week, and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role, including Flexi-leave. Scottish Government staff in hybrid-compatible roles should aim to work in-person 40% of the time, either in an office or other agreed work location.

Overview
This six-month interim role will lead preparatory work for a priority project across Scotland’s international network, helping to strengthen coordination, alignment and delivery readiness. The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the Scottish Government, international offices and key stakeholders to gather evidence, assess current approaches, identify risks and dependencies, and develop recommendations to support future implementation. The role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills, alongside the ability to produce high-quality briefings and advice for senior audiences. The postholder will also contribute to wider policy and corporate responsibilities, supporting Scotland’s international objectives and helping to improve the effectiveness of the international network.
