You will support the Chief Executive in their role as accountable officer and in managing the work with the Revenue Scotland Board and its Committees, and key strategic relationships with Scottish Ministers, the Scottish Parliament and external stakeholders.

As a member of a Senior Leadership Team of five, one of whom is the Chief Executive, you will champion diversity and inclusion and make a significant contribution to the leadership and performance of the organisation.

You will set the operational agenda for Revenue Scotland’s corporate teams, and drive service excellence across four operational teams. You will be involved in many diverse and interesting tasks to support delivery teams and use your technical knowledge and judgement borne from experience to make decisions.
