We're looking for a Resourcing Team Lead to play a pivotal role in the ongoing transformation of our Resourcing function. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team, drive continuous improvement, and influence how we attract, recruit and onboard talented people across the Scottish Government, its Executive Agencies and associated bodies.
As our Resourcing Team Lead, you'll combine strategic thinking with operational excellence, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused recruitment services are delivered at scale. You'll champion candidate experience, build strong stakeholder relationships, and lead a culture where collaboration, performance and innovation thrive. You'll lead and develop a team of Recruiters and On-boarders, providing the direction, coaching and support needed to deliver excellent outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Leading day-to-day operational delivery across recruitment and onboarding service.
- Overseeing recruitment systems and processes, including Oracle/ATS and Access pre-employment checking systems.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and candidate experience.
- Using performance data and insights to monitor KPIs, identify risks, manage escalations and embed learning.
- Providing assurance on quality, compliance and adherence to Civil Service Commission principles.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Working collaboratively with Attraction and Resourcing colleagues to deliver a seamless end-to-end recruitment service.

This role is a permanent level transfer position.
