Job Description

Requirements
You will have 5 National 5s, or equivalent, including Maths and English; or relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of consolidated debt relating to individuals and businesses, and provide referrals to support agencies in order to break the debt cycle whilst increasing recovery levels within the Council.
The Individual
You will have experience of delivering a customer-focused service, the ability to deal with potentially sensitive or challenging situations, and have experience of assisting members of the public who are in stressful situations. You will have well-developed communication skills, an awareness of Data Protection Legislation, and experience using computerised systems including Microsoft, along with the ability to analyze data/information with attention to detail. A flexible approach to duties, with the ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively, is essential. Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision is required. A Level 1 Basic Disclosure Scotland check is also required.
