The new role of People Partner will contribute to shaping and delivering impactful Learning and HR initiatives as well as BAU activities across the organisation, actively supporting the business to build the capabilities needed to achieve its strategic goals. This includes partnering with leaders to identify skill gaps, designing targeted development interventions, and ensuring learning and HR solutions directly strengthen organisational performance.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of Learning & Development, supported by a broad understanding of HR disciplines, enabling flexible support across the employee lifecycle. While focused primarily on Learning & Development, the role also provides flexible HR support across a multitude of disciplines, including onboarding, responding to HR queries, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting Employee Relations matters up to and including ER casework. The role may also contribute to wider HR projects and change initiatives, such as merger or integration activity and associated project workstreams, as required.

As a People Partner you will work alongside and have support from the Senior People Partner but will be able to operate with minimal guidance, work independently to solve complex problems and take new perspectives on existing solutions.

What you will do:

  • Partner with leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify capability gaps and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
  • Design, coordinate, and support delivery of inclusive, compliant blended learning (virtual, in-person, digital).
  • Manage the full learning cycle, from needs analysis to evaluation and impact measurement.
  • Coordinate L&D projects, maintaining governance, and collaborate across HR, Tech, and the wider business.
  • Champion a strong learning culture and support onboarding, development, and change initiatives.

What you will bring:

  • Confidence influencing stakeholders and shaping SME content into clear, engaging learning.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and delivering blended learning solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Experience working in, or understanding of, regulated environments, preferably within Financial Services.
  • Psychometric accreditation (e.g. Insights, MBTI, DiSC).
  • Learning analytics or evaluation framework experience.
  • HRIS reporting experience and exposure to employee relations.
