We’re looking for a dedicated and organised Wellbeing and Protection Support Officer to join our passionate team on a 9 months fixed term contract and help deliver high-quality administrative support for our wellbeing and protection education programmes.

Description

At the Scottish FA, we are committed to promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment across all levels of Scottish football. We’re looking for a dedicated and organised Wellbeing and Protection Support Officer to join our passionate team on a 9 months fixed term contract and help deliver high-quality administrative support for our wellbeing and protection education programmes.

You’ll be central to the smooth running of our wellbeing and protection initiatives, providing key administrative support, coordinating training events, and being a welcoming point of contact for our members and tutor network.

We welcome applications from candidates with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. We’re seeking a proactive team player with strong admin skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office, able to manage confidential information, and committed to our values of being approachable, accountable, inclusive, and empowering. Experience in Scottish football or a business admin qualification is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

§ Organise an annual training calendar for wellbeing and protection development across Scottish football

§ Administer the wellbeing and protection training courses offered by the Scottish FA, including setting dates and venues, assigning tutors and the circulation of pre and post-course information

§ Maintain training attendance records in an ordered and confidential manner in line with the Association’s data protection policies

§ Support the tutor team by providing timely and effective administrative support before and after each course

§ Act as the first point of contact for Scottish FA staff in relation to wellbeing and protection training

§ Work closely with the Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer and Wellbeing and Protection Co-ordinator to respond to support enquiries from Scottish FA members related to wellbeing and protection

§ Assist with enquiries to the Wellbeing and Protection mailbox and input information to the Case Management System.

§ Assist with special projects in the Wellbeing and Protection team as required

§ Any other reasonable duties as required and agreed with the Head of Wellbeing and Protection
