Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer referee appointments, ensuring all appointments are aligned with the development plan for the referees.
  • Occasionally be the main point of contact on a rota basis for issues arising at the weekend, covering call offs across professional and non-professional game and arranging pitch inspections for Scottish FA and SPFL competitions.
  • Prepare accurate minutes for relevant meetings.
  • Undertake any project work within the Scottish FA.
  • Liaise with the Referees’ Association Managers and Secretaries as appropriate on refereeing matters.
  • Provide administrative support to the department as appropriate.
  • Update COMET ensuring all referee appointments are recorded timeously and accurately.
