As a wholetime firefighter, you’ll play a vital role in protecting lives, preventing harm and supporting communities across Scotland. We’re hiring across most of Scotland now! You must: Be at least 18 years old at the time of application and have the right to work in the UK. What you’ll learn: Our three-year Wholetime Trainee Firefighter Foundation Programme provides comprehensive on the job training to build the skills and confidence you need to succeed and achieve recognition as a competent firefighter. You’ll complete a Modern Apprenticeship qualification and an SVQ in Firefighting. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on learning experience that will challenge you.
