Role Overview
The Commercial Housing Manager will oversee factoring, private lettings, shared equity and shared ownership, as well as commercial lease portfolio management across the Property Management business.
Responsibilities
- Lead performance, compliance and customer experience across a portfolio of over 7,000 factored owner properties, 1,200 mid‑market and market‑rent properties, 150 commercial leases and 350 shared owners.
- Manage daily operations and supervise a team of 3 co‑ordinators, with overall responsibility for 47 staff members.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and ensure efficient income collection.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks and protect income streams.
- Report directly to the Director of Property Management and provide regular updates on portfolio performance.
Qualifications
- Third‑level management qualification or degree equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. Management, Business, Housing/Property).
- Commercial acumen and experience managing competing demands in a fast‑paced environment.
- Awareness of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience leading performance improvement initiatives and income collections across a significant property portfolio.
- Driving licence and access to a car.
