Southside Housing Association is looking for an Energy Adviser to deliver a reactive Energy Advice Service funded by the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme until 31 May 2028. The post is based in the Glasgow area and will support the Southside Housing Association and three other local housing associations.
Responsibilities
- Assist vulnerable and excluded households and facilitate access to fuel support services.
- Reduce fuel poverty and fuel debt through education on efficient heating and energy‑efficiency measures.
- Promote digital and financial inclusion and financial resilience for clients.
- Work closely with the Welfare Rights and Money Advice Service and other community support services to deliver a person‑centred approach.
- Adapt to changing circumstances and competing pressures while maintaining a “can‑do” attitude.
Qualifications
- Relevant knowledge and skills to deliver a reactive Energy Advice Service.
- Proficiency in using IT packages.
- Valid driver’s licence; access to a vehicle is desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
Benefits
