About the Department

The Asset Management Team is part of the Property Department and works across all companies within Hillcrest. We manage and invest in more than 9,500 homes, alongside supported accommodation, commercial properties and offices, ensuring our properties remain safe, compliant and well maintained while delivering high-quality investment programmes that improve our customers’ homes and communities.

About the Role

Lead our Planned and Specialist Contracts Team and oversee the procurement, delivery and performance of planned maintenance, compliance and building safety contracts across more than 9,500 homes. Managing a team of asset management professionals, you’ll deliver major investment and compliance programmes, ensuring excellent customer outcomes, value for money and full regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with colleagues, contractors and consultants to shape our Asset Management Strategy, support sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives, and provide assurance to senior management and board members.

About You

  • We’re looking for an experienced asset management professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering safe, high-quality homes.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management, Asset Management, Building Surveying, Housing, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience managing planned maintenance, compliance or asset management contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, building safety and contract management.
  • Experience leading teams, managing budgets and delivering value for money.
  • Excellent contractor management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and outstanding customer service.
