Description: To carry out the appointment of match officials and to contribute to the effective functioning of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer referee appointments, ensuring all appointments are aligned with the development plan for the referees.
- Occasionally serve as the main point of contact on a rota basis for issues arising at the weekend, covering call offs across professional and non-professional game and arranging pitch inspections for Scottish FA and SPFL competitions.
- Prepare accurate minutes for relevant meetings.
- Undertake any project work within the Scottish FA.
- Liaise with the Referees’ Association Managers and Secretaries as appropriate on refereeing matters.
- Provide administrative support to the department as appropriate.
- Update COMET ensuring all referee appointments are recorded timely and accurately.
