Job Description
Comprising the SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo and the OVO Hydro, the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) is Scotland's premier venue for events, gigs, conferences, and exhibitions. We enjoy an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s most prestigious venues with the OVO Hydro consistently ranked in the top 3 busiest venues in the world, attracting over 2 million visitors per year.
As a Safety, Security & Traffic Officer, you will be responsible for working as part of the Event Safety & Security Team to help deliver the following:
- To assist in the effective operation of the security service across the campus.
- Main responder for fire activations and security alerts.
- Assist with traffic management on campus & during events.
- CCTV monitoring.
- Radio response control.
- Undertake daily venue Safety & Security inspections.
- Security audit / tours.

- Proven experience of working in a similar environment.

- To be able to develop and build good client & customer relationships.
- DS and CCTV SIA Licences (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the entire Microsoft Office.
- Ability to type quickly and accurately, essential for real-time event logging.
The shift pattern for this role is four on, four off.
