The Scottish Event Campus have a fantastic opportunity for a Safety, Security & Traffic Officer to join our team. Comprising the SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo and the OVO Hydro, the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) is Scotland's premier venue for events, gigs, conferences, and exhibitions. We enjoy an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s most prestigious venues with the OVO Hydro consistently ranked in the top 3 busiest venues in the world, attracting over 2 million visitors per year.
Reporting directly to the SSTO Team Leaders, the SSTO will be responsible for day-to-day security, for all team members, visitors, and customers. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a similar environment with excellent people skills, with experience delivering security services.
Main Responsibilities- To assist in the effective operation of the security service across the campus.
- Main responder for fire activations and security alerts.
- Assist with traffic management on campus & during events.
- CCTV monitoring.
- Radio response control.
- Undertake daily venue Safety & Security inspections.
- Security audit / tours.
- Proven experience of working in a similar environment.
- Strong relationship building skills with multiple teams and agencies.
- Report writing skills.
- Team Player with a positive and friendly attitude.
- To be able to develop and build good client & customer relationships.
- Hold both DS and CCTV SIA Licences.
