Supporting the future of the Commonwealth Games – Glasgow 2026! In under 500 days, Glasgow will transform into a global hub for sport and culture, welcoming 3,000 athletes from 74 nations, across 11 days of unforgettable action, fuelled by the city’s unstoppable energy and passion. Six of the ten sports and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies are being hosted at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC). As such, it is expected that the SEC will be a high-profile epicentre of the Games and will likely be the broadcast backdrop to global audiences of over 1 billion.

The SEC will establish a games team within the Operations Department, to plan and enable the delivery of the SEC’s commitments and a successful Games. We have a unique and exciting fixed term opportunity to join this team as the SEC Commonwealth Games Event Administrator placing you at the heart of the action.

The SEC Commonwealth Games Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Lead on OC and EDP venue visits coordinating with key stakeholders, gaining approvals, maintaining the client visit list and adhering to all venue site rules.
  • Provide administrative support to the games team to work with SEC colleagues and the Glasgow 2026 Organising Company (OC), Event Delivery Partners (EDP) to support the delivery of the SEC’s commitments.
  • Provide administrative support tracking the progress of all agreed venue developments and capital works in collaboration with the SEC Commonwealth Games Team manager and each activity sponsor.
  • Maintain reports on the progress of all Games-related activity, including post event reporting.
  • Provide administrative support tracking the event budget and monitor budget risks/issues and reporting.
