Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) is recruiting a full‑time, permanent Scientist (Hydrometry) based in Dumfries.

The role supports Scotland’s flood warning, drought risk assessment, bathing water assessment and flood modelling and mapping activities.

Applicants will engage in field work across rivers, lochs, groundwater and tidal sites, and will maintain monitoring stations while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

A driving licence and IT skills are essential.
