We are recruiting for a full time Data Platform Engineer on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Leading on the delivery of SEPA’s data platform, ensuring reliability, scalability and security.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (including IaC, automated testing and deployment).
- Developing and maintaining monitoring, logging and alerting solutions for SEPA’s data platform and data products.
- Administering and maintaining SEPA’s data platform.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to define and drive standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience or qualification equivalent to SCQF Level 10 (e.g. relevant Degree), or an equivalent Digital/Professional Qualification.
- Comprehensive DevOps engineering knowledge and experience, including IaC (Terraform, Bicep or similar) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar).
- Significant experience with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (EntraID, Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI).
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of building and maintaining Azure monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Proven communication, collaboration and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring colleagues, defining standards and successfully delivering projects.
