We are recruiting for a full time Communications Officer (Content Designer) on a permanent basis.

As Communications Officer (Content Designer), you will support the existing Senior Content Designers to develop and improve our existing web offering. The candidate will be involved in website development such as expanding the navigation, identifying new content areas to be created, streamlining existing content and taking on board user feedback to improve our web offering.
The Content Designer should have a basic understanding and previous experience of:
- Developing wireframes
- Simplifying complex information for users
- Engaging with stakeholders
They will be supported to further develop these skills and will work closely with Senior Content Designers, Editors, Accessibility specialists and wider communications colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Content Designers to develop and improve the existing web offering.
- Involve in website development such as expanding navigation, identifying new content areas, and streamlining existing content.
- Take on board user feedback to improve the web offering.
Respect for your expertise
This is a highly important role within our Governance, Performance & Engagement Portfolio, which means you’ll need:
- Relevant degree and/or equivalent experience in content design role
- Previous experience working with wireframes and wireframe software
- Demonstrable experience of the application of WCAG 2.2 AA principles and standards
- Experience of working with users, gathering user feedback, analysing and turning this into user stories
- Proven experience in improving a service or product for users
