As Lead Tooling & Automation Engineer, that involves
- Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for the Halo platform.
- Own the development roadmap and future direction of Halo across the organisation.
- Design and implement automation, workflows, service catalogues and business processes.
- Lead the design and delivery of integrations between Halo and corporate systems.
- Work directly with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for automation and service improvement.
- Develop reporting, dashboards and management information to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure platform governance, resilience, security align with SEPA and government frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership on platform enhancements, upgrades and future adoption.
- Support the expansion of Halo into additional business functions and service areas.

This is a highly important role within our Finance, Modernisation & Digitalportfolio, which means you’ll need:
- Experience administering, configuring and developing Halo ITSM or a comparable enterprise platform.
- Experience acting as the technical lead, platform lead, or senior specialist for a business-critical application.
- Experience designing and implementing business process automation and workflow improvements , delivering and supporting system integrations using APIs and related technologies.
- Experience ofbuilding relationshipsworking directlywith business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience ofleadership in shaping and articulating complex or ambiguous technical problems to enable effective solution design and informed decision-making
