We are recruiting for a full time Assistant Environment Protection Officeron a rolling 3 month contract

• Provides support forthe regulatoryactivitiesofthe Falkirk, Alloa, Stirling & Perth team or the Edinburgh, Lothian & Borders Team
• Supports team members in the processing and reporting of information and data
• Routine compliance assessment work andlow-levelcomplaint response and enforcement work
• Responding to first level enquiries

This is a highly important role within our Regulation, Business & Environmentportfolio, which means you’ll need:

• Relevant experience or qualification to SCQF Level 6-7(such as Scottish Highers orequivalent)
• Effective communicationskillswith a range of stakeholders, preferably experience in communicating with business owners and/or members of the public
• Ability to triage work and priorities, escalatingrisksand issues where necessary
• Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
