We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our lovely team at Oban Dental Clinic, a modern, purpose-built practice committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Hours of work:

  • Monday 8.45-6pm
  • Tuesday 8.45-6pm
  • Wednesday 8.45-7pm
  • Thursday 8.45-6pm
  • Friday 8.45-5pm

About Oban Dental Clinic:

Oban Dental Clinic is located in a superb, purpose-built facility adjoining the Lorn and Islands Hospital, less than half a mile from Oban town centre. The clinic features:

  • Three fully equipped surgeries
  • Two dedicated decontamination facilities
  • Plentiful parking and excellent public transport links

We provide a full range of NHS dental services, as well as private treatments including cosmetic dentistry and a dedicated dental implant clinic.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing chairside support to dentists across a variety of treatments
  • Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments in line with infection control protocols
  • Assisting with accurate patient record-keeping and clinical note-taking
  • Creating a reassuring and positive experience for all patients
  • Supporting the smooth daily running of the clinic

  • GDC-registered Dental Nurse or an experienced trainee
  • Friendly, reliable, and a strong team player
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
