We’re looking for a motivated and organised Practice Manager to join our friendly and well-established team at our Musselburgh dental practice. Located in the heart of Musselburgh, our mixed NHS practice is home to a dedicated team of clinicians and dental nurses who take pride in providing high-quality care in a welcoming environment. We’re part of the respected Scottish Dental Care group, offering stability, support, and room to grow.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Management
- Support clinicians with chairside assistance when needed
- Ensure clinical areas are clean, organised, and fully equipped
- Maintain accurate clinical records and health & safety compliance
- Financial Administration
- Oversee patient payments and manage daily banking
- Complete NHS transmissions and monthly financial reconciliations
- Patient Care
- Manage the patient recall system to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to patient complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Leadership & Support
- Monitor staffing levels and ensure appropriate daily cover
- Lead monthly team meetings and communicate updates
- Support the wider team to maintain a smooth, efficient practice
