We are looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team at Bishopton Dental Clinic on a full-time basis. As our Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play an important role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. You will support patients throughout their journey, from booking appointments and answering enquiries to providing a warm, professional welcome when they arrive.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and is confident working in a busy, professional environment.

Hours of Work

  • Tuesday – Thursday: 8:45am – 6pm
  • Friday: 8:45am – 5pm

About You

We are looking for a confident, friendly and highly organised individual who can deliver a consistently high standard of patient care. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, ideally within a dental practice
  • Experience using SOE and Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Experience working within structured and regulated processes
  • A professional approach and the ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills across telephone, email and face-to-face interactions
  • A warm, friendly and professional manner with patients and visitors
  • A confident and cheerful telephone manner
  • A strong commitment to maintaining high standards
  • A genuine passion for patient care and an understanding of patients' individual needs
  • The ability to handle challenging or difficult situations calmly and professionally
  • A willingness to go the extra mile for patients and colleagues
