Outline of the role: Are you looking for a new role where you can be responsible for a portfolio of change programmes to modernise the delivery of a fantastic organisation? As a Senior Project Manager within Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) Change and Digital Innovation (CDi) team, you will work as part of the Change Lab structure managed within the Project Management Pool. Promoting best practice in project management, you will ensure that SCTS policy and procedures maintain quality assurance levels of a high standard. You will lead on planning, supporting the team to achieve a high level of performance and quality, and deliver a portfolio of agile projects that can demonstrably deliver high business value to users and stakeholders. In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with the delivery teams of project manager(s).
The key responsibilities include:
- Performing project planning activities for strategic projects or portfolio of projects
- Securing the correct resources and finances across multiple projects
- Managing the delivery resources, including project managers and budget
- Management of scope
- Schedule management and high-level change control (scope management)
- Risk, Issue, Assumption and Dependency management
- Negotiating and unblocking obstacles to delivery
- Compliance with in-house LOAD delivery methodology
- Project reporting
