Outline of the role

If you're passionate about digital learning and want to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity where you will manage and enhance our digital learning platform, ensuring it remains effective, accessible, and aligned to organisational needs. You will design and deliver engaging digital and blended learning solutions that support a modern, flexible workforce. You’ll play a key role in supporting user onboarding, helping new starters quickly access learning resources, while also driving overall uptake across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll translate business needs into clear, effective learning outcomes and solutions.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in learning & development or digital training delivery
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and digital learning platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Forms and Co-Pilot chat)
  • Experience designing and managing digital learning programmes
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project skills
  • Ability to analyse data and evaluate learning impact and performance

SCTS deals with over a quarter of a million cases and applications each year. Rehabilitation of Offenders

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service is exempt from the protections of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). This permits us to ask applicants details of both spent and unspent convictions, along with details of any formal cautions that you may have. Individuals without existing security clearance will always be considered as all successful applicants will require a standard level Disclosure check completed before employment can commence. The Civil Service Code sets out the standards of behaviour expected of civil servants.
