Outline of the role:
Are you an experienced cyber security professional looking to make a meaningful impact in public service? We are seeking a Head of Cyber Security Architecture to lead the strategic design and development of cyber security controls that protect critical digital systems, services and data across Scotland's justice system. In this senior technical leadership role, you will work closely with architects, engineers, security specialists and business leaders to establish security standards, shape cyber security strategy, lead threat modelling and security assessment processes, and drive secure-by-design principles across the organisation.
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:
- Expert-level cyber security architecture qualification (e.g. CISSP, ISSAP, SABSA, SC-100)
- Strong understanding of cyber security threats, enterprise architecture and modern digital platforms
- Experience across cloud, networking, application development and supply chain security
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of balancing business needs, risk and strategic objectives to deliver secure solutions
