Teacher of Art and Design to join the Art and Design Department at the ESM Senior School on a permanent basis from 17 August 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). This is a permanent, part-time role, working equivalent to 0.24FTE of a full-time teacher. The salary range for this position is £8,532 to £12,358. Remuneration is dependent on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Art and Design to all year group levels and contribute to the School’s extra-curricular programme.
- Deliver a broad curriculum using a wide range of media, techniques and processes, including drawing, painting, printmaking, 3D work, photography and/or digital art.
Qualifications and Requirements
- The successful candidate must be GTCS registered, or eligible for registration, with a relevant subject-specific teaching degree.
- They should be passionate about Art and Design and should support the department in collaborating, creating and building a successful subject offering to all students of the Senior School.
Eligibility
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
