Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for 5x Sports Club Attendants, who hold a NPLQ, to join the Sports Centre on a temporary basis until 23 August 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks). The role is available immediately, working 18 hours per week, on a pattern of 3x 6 hour shifts, with an hourly rate of £12.83.
Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain a welcoming environment for customers, ensuring high‑quality and proactive service.
- Support the Sports Centre Duty Supervisor and Manager with duties such as lifeguarding, responding to customer queries, assisting members and preparing activity spaces.
- Work closely with all staff in the Sports Centre, members, and school staff.
Qualifications
- Current NPLQ qualification.
- Previous experience in a customer‑facing role or the fitness industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication, organisational, prioritisation and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers for this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate must have an alternative right to work in the UK.
