Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in Character Education. We run a prestigious and well‑established Summer School for children aged 8-16 from approximately 40 nationalities. Each year we create a vibrant international community where our staff play a critical role in creating a happy and formative summer experience for our students.

We are looking to recruit a small number of Houseparents to lead pastoral teams within our boarding houses. You will be responsible for all aspects of pastoral care for the young people staying in your boarding house, and lead a team of pastoral staff, including an Assistant House Parent, Staff Assistants and Student Leaders. You will have relevant pastoral experience in an educational, boarding or summer school environment and be able to provide encouragement and support to students, enabling them to fully embrace the wide and varied summer school programme. You will complete reports on the students and be involved in some excursions and activities.

Course Dates: Tuesday 30th June 2026 – Monday 27 July 2026.

Residential accommodation with full board is provided and a competitive salary based on experience. Gordonstoun is striving to build a team that is truly inclusive.
