Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join the HR team on a permanent basis (subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks). The role is available immediately, full time, working 36.25 hours per week with a salary of £25,990. If you thrive in a fast‑paced busy environment, have excellent stakeholder management skills and have a flair for process improvement, this opportunity could be for you.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Support recruiting managers with various recruitment tasks, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, handling pre‑employment checks, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and managing the shared mailboxes and HR records.
- Support probation reviews and absence management to support a smooth employee journey.
Qualifications
- Experience in an HR or administrative role, with knowledge of employment legislation being desirable.
- Experience using iTrent as a system and payroll experience would be a high advantage although not essential.
- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to high professional standards and continuous professional development is key.
Eligibility
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
