The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.
Based at any mainland SCRA office (subject to office capacity), with hybrid working arrangements available.
Reporting to the Information Governance Manager/Data Protection Officer, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to Localities and Head Office to ensure SCRA meets its obligations under UK Data Protection laws.
Educated to degree level or with significant experience in a similar role, you will ideally have knowledge and understanding of SCRA’s responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
With excellent communication skills, you will have proven ability to develop strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You must also be able to analyse complex queries and develop practical, proportionate solutions that balance risk, compliance and operational needs.
The successful candidate should hold a BCS Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection or similar qualification, or have a willingness to study and obtain this certificate within six months of commencing the role, which would be fully funded by SCRA.
