This is a brilliant opportunity to lead products that are fair, useful, easy to understand and built around what savers need now and in the future.

You’ll be our go-to expert for savings and deposits, bringing insight, energy and clear thinking to pricing, product strategy, governance, customer journeys and sustainable deposit growth.

Working across Commercial, Finance, Relationship Centres, Risk, Marketing and IT, you’ll turn ideas into practical improvements that make a real difference for members.

  • Shape a competitive savings proposition that supports the Society’s plan and helps more people feel confident about their financial future.
  • Lead pricing recommendations that balance member value, commercial performance and funding needs.
  • Drive sustainable deposit growth across branch, digital, telephony and intermediary channels.
  • Make sure products are well governed, Consumer Duty aligned and focused on good member outcomes.
  • Use customer insight, market awareness and data to improve savings journeys and product performance.
  • Build confidence, pace and capability across product, pricing and commercial decision making.
  • What you'll bring
  • You’ll bring strong savings or deposits product experience, a good understanding of pricing and funding economics, and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • You’ll know how to work within strong governance and Consumer Duty expectations, while still bringing fresh thinking, pace and a practical focus on delivery.
  • Experience in retail banking, savings marketplaces, digital savings journeys or product transformation will be key and building society experience would be a real advantage.
  • Experience managing cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience of deposit aggregators and marketplace distribution.
  • Treasury or balance sheet management exposure.
  • Experience leading product transformation programmes
