Painter And Decorator Job Overview
The successful candidate will deliver excellent painting and decorating work across our varied housing stock, carrying out repairs, maintenance, cyclical works, and planned upgrades. You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team, adhering to health and safety standards, working efficiently to agreed timescales, and always focusing on delivering a high-quality service to our Tenants.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
City and Guilds Level 2 in qualification or equivalent trade qualification, or equivalent through training and experience
Must be a time-served Painter and Decorator
Able to demonstrate all round skills applicable to the trade
Able to carry out work with the minimum of supervision
Able to carry out duties to a high-quality standard with the minimum disruption to Tenants and neighbours
Able to adapt to different situations and problem solve
Excellent communication interpersonal skills
Customer-focused approached to delivering services
Awareness of health and safety practices in domestic environments
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Understand and respects equality and diversity
Holder of a current UK driving licence
