Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Waverley Residential Home, Galashiels
Hours: 28.5 hours per week
Salary: £13.89 – £14.49 per hour / £26,804.69 – £28,155.19 pro rata per annum
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.
- Promote the health and well-being of the people we support and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way.
- Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary.
- Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users\\\’ medication, following relevant training.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Qualifications: SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential. You can earn whilst you learn!
- Training: All training is provided.
- Requirements: PVG Adults – we will do this for you! SSSC registered.
