Based in our welcoming Peebles office, you will be part of our established Children and Families Long-Term Team, supporting communities across the western Scottish Borders. Essential

  • Professional social work qualification, recognised by the SSSC, e.g. Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW.
  • Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Up-to-date understanding of the key issues and relevant theoretical background facing professional children and families social workers, particularly related to child protection and looked after children.
  • A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
