Role Purpose

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, qualified Social Worker to support the provision of good outcomes for children and young people. The post holder will work as a member of the wider Transition Team holding a caseload which will include different aspects of practice including Youth Justice, Throughcare/Aftercare and work with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children.

Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.

Essential

  • Approved qualification in Social Work and registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement for the post.
