Scottish Borders Council are looking to recruit a highly motivated, qualified Social Worker to work as part of a specialist team charged with the task of delivering a high quality service to substitute carers (foster carers and prospective adopters).

Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.

Essential
  • Approved qualifications in Social Work e.g. Degree/Dip SW/CQSW/CSS.
  • Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
