Role Purpose
GRADE: 1F As a School Crossing Patroller, you will play a vital role in safely guiding children. You'll guide children at specific times and points, while considering other road users.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding children safely across roads, whilst considering other road users.
- Using provided uniform and equipment for the safety of yourself, children, and the public.
- Reporting any problems or difficulties to the Facilities Coordinator responsible for the service operation.
- Working alongside your team with no supervisory responsibility.
- Working with your team with no budgetary responsibility.
Requirements:
- Be punctual and responsible.
- Have knowledge of the highway code.
- Be able to maintain discipline at the crossing point.
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
