Role Purpose

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work face to face with a targeted group of young people.
  • To work with other staff and volunteers in providing appropriate programs to meet the needs of a targeted group of young people with a focus on closing the poverty attainment gap.
  • To work with young people and partners such as DYW, CLD and SDS to raise aspiration and ensure sustained positive destination post school.
  • To support Family Learning opportunities.
  • To participate in staff training and development as agreed with the Pupil Support team.
  • To safeguard and implement safe working practices with respect to confidentiality, consent, child protection and managing risk appropriately.
