Role Purpose
You’ll be part of a supportive and dedicated Parks and Environment Team that keeps essential council services running smoothly. Your work will directly contribute to a safe and comfortable environment for service users.
Duties include:
- General Grounds Maintenance
- Grass Cutting
- Shrub and tree pruning
- Weed control application
- Litter picking
- Emptying bins
- Assisting with other departments including:
- Grave digging
- Cleaning toilet
- Generally keeping the towns and villages tidy
Essential
A current Category B driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
