Role Purpose
We are seeking a Sports Development Officer to join our team to create new opportunities within woman & girls sport, delivered in partnership with key local partners, Scottish Governing Bodies, and local sports clubs. The role will also support the Borders Scottish FA Football Development Officer with the delivery of the regional football programme including the regional squads and the work delivered in partnership with the Scottish Borders Junior Football Association. Successful applicants will be dedicated to the development of community sport, be a great team player driven to make a difference. The role will also allow you to work alongside the other sports development staff to improve the sporting pathway programme in particular for woman & girls. The Individual will support clubs to be strong, inclusive, safe, and sustainable with the intended outcome of strengthening the pathways into sport across the region.
