Role Purpose

Scottish Borders Council Instrumental Music Service is seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Instrumental Music Teachers to join its supply and casual workforce, including availability to lead ensembles during term time. To teach pupils to play a musical instrument, in groups and individually, developing technical and musical skills and aural and literacy skills whilst promoting enjoyment of music making.

Essential

  • Relevant music qualification (e.g., degree, diploma, or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in ensemble direction or/and group teaching.
  • A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
