Role Purpose

Are you an experienced and motivated engineer ready to play a key role in managing and improving vital Road Infrastructure Assets? We’re looking for a skilled professional to join our Roads Asset Team and help deliver high quality, safe, and sustainable road maintenance works across the Scottish Borders.

Essential

  • Educated to HND or HNC in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline or present evidence of comparable experience and training.
  • SVQ Level 4 in a relevant discipline or willing to obtain within agreed timescales on appointment.
  • RSTA Surface Dressing Certificate or willing to obtain within an agreed timescale on appointment.
  • Membership of Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Highways and Transportation, or willing to obtain within agreed timescale on appointment.
  • A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
