Job Details Grade: EP1-6 Salary: £31711.5 - £38859 per annum Hours: 17.5 Contract Duration: Permanent Role Purpose Scottish Borders Council is a dynamic team of 9 staff, making up 8FTE posts. In addition, we have 2 Trainee Educational Psychologists in our team this year. We believe in collegiate leadership of our service and as such there is opportunity to lead creatively to shape impact in a number of essential and important areas. We have excellent relationships within the Education Service and work closely with the wider Council departments and our multi-agency partners, supported by the Council's commitment to local leadership and Cluster working. This role is an exciting opportunity in Scottish Borders to contribute to transformational change in improving inclusion across the authority, at a time when the EPS itself is adapting practice to ensure we are delivering our services most effectively. Essential You will be fully registered as an Educational Psychologist in the United Kingdom with the Health and Care Professions Council (or working towards the relevant Qualification in Educational Psychology as a current Year 3 Trainee Educational Psychologist.) You will have an Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Psychology, and an accredited postgraduate qualification (minimum stage 1) in educational psychology.
